The Builders’ Registration Board’s area of jurisdiction encompasses 123 of the 139 Local Governments in Western Australia.  In some instances only major town sites are included. Directory of Local Government [PDF].

The Builders' Registration Act 1939 contains a schedule of areas which the Act applies to. 

The Home Building Contracts Act 1991 applies to all areas in Western Australia.
